The NeverEnding Story Movie Poster

The Neverending Story is at its core a movie about a kid wrestling with depression in the wake of his mother’s death. It’s heavy thematically and visually. I wanted to focus on the key visual elements of the story in Gmork, Falcor and the Auryn while tying back into the subcontext of “The Nothing” representing a spiral of depression and the german storybook heritage of the production.

I created this alternative movie poster for a screening in Los Angeles by Movie Club 35mm .
